Hibiscus acetosella "Haight Ashbury" -
Nature is endlessly artistic!
It is almost impossible to believe that these colors are authentic to this plant.
The interacting shapes of the leaves and flower buds also creates a multitude of visual examples of abstract designs found in nature.
It displays multi-colored shades of cream, pink and burgundy foliage, with deep burgundy flowers.Its traits include drought tolerance, heat tolerance and deer resistance. It can be grown in sun to partial shade.
Seen at the Smith College Gardens in Northampton, Massachusetts.
