Description
The cheerful face of this sunflower beckons towards a nearby cornstalk.
I couldn't help to be drawn to these plants as they presented themselves, volunteers next to a chain link fence, in the back area of a parking lot in a local grocery market and plant nursery. They were tall enough for me to need to look up at them with only the bright daylight as their background and the breeze coaxing them into a conversation of movement.
