Description
This wildflower is a tall variety of Fleabane. The flower has two types of flowers, an outer ring of white ray florets which can be fertilized. These surround the center ring of yellow florets which are bisexual and fertile.
These daisy-like wildflowers are native to North America, but their proliferation might make you think of them as a “weed”. Erigeron annuus is also known as Sweet Scabious. Bloom time is June-October. It is propagated by re-seeding.
