A corner of a great hay field was left unmoved with the result being a wonderful spray of cattails standing boldly among the surrounding wind-burned tall grass. That coupled by the typha curling gracefully with a friendly breeze was a treat to my senses each time I passed by.
I find cattails to be very beautiful especially when a breeze causes them to sway and dance. The leaves have a bluish cast. When they move in the light and the wind, a wonderful array of tones are revealed.
