I stopped to look at a rainbow when this lone goose announced itself as it was flying towards me. They fly so high, even with max zoom it was very far away. This was the closest shot as it flew overhead. It is so beautiful to see its overall grace and the uplifted wing feathers.
I hadn't completely appreciated the beautiful shape of the Canadian Goose in flight until I saw it through my camera lens. It's interesting how one's camera eye informs us in this particular way. Another moment for gratitude.
