The Chesapeake Bay Bridge/Tunnel ends on a small round island on the north side and then there is yet another bridge to get on the next piece of land. I was glad that there was a nice stopping place where I could look back at the bridge (middle, left). Lots of smaller bridges to come in this vicinity where water abounds and land is small and flat.
I was so excited to be crossing the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Everything around it seems to have such vibrance, drama and feeling of unpredictability. I stopped at this beach to have one last look back at this phenomenon.
