Ocracoke Beach, North Carolina on Cape Hatteras National Seashore, a splendid place to be on a beautiful Autumn day. It was wonderful to watch the colors change every fifteen minutes as the day wound into sunset. The warm colors of the sand mixing in with a very particular color of teal drew my attention. Add to that the blue-grey of the sky and the row of low hanging white puffy clouds, it became a moment to remember.
This image has been creatively interpreted with a gentle painterly style giving it a texture that enhances the mood of the scene.
