A low-growing plant with beautifully delicate shapes is casting off it's parts one by one as the season changes. The tiny calyxes look like little star flowers. Some seed fluffs are still maturing. The details of shapes and colorations are wonderful to see upon a closer look and are so easily ignored in the mass of the big picture. The point of view lends a 3D effect as the plant reaches up to the viewer.
