Description
The April morning sun shines through the multitudes of graceful weeping willow branches.
One of the things that I love about weeping willows is that they are among the first to give us color in the springtime and among the last to retain color in late autumn. They are always a refreshing sight in any season, offering a lovely wash of color and flowing grace. It is such a pleasure being close to it, watching the movements and interaction of light in its complex structure.
I began visiting this tree regularly since 2015 to observe new growth as the days go by. It is such a pleasure being close to it, watching the movements and interaction of light in its complex structure.
In 2022, this tree was severely reduced. I don't know why. Maybe because so much of it reached over a parking area in the garden center where it is located. However, some of its main trunk a a very few extending branches remain and it is just now beginning to show its springtime chartreuse dress. I will be trying to keep track of it noting how it reestablishes itself.

Stunning photo, Julie. Love the way the sun serves as a sort of spotlight on the barren willow branches. f/l

Great work Julie.

Thank you, Eddie. I replied before but did it as a comment not seeing the "reply" option. I'm still finding my way around here.
