Skyline Drive is a 105-mile road that runs the entire length of the National Park Service's Shenandoah National Park in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, generally along the ridge of the mountains.
The views here would be wonderful on any day and the mood of the weather would only add to the experience (except if the weather gets too bad, the road closes down). I drove the entire length of the Skyline Drive which took all day. This area is exceedingly beautiful, the mountains having a special quality and look.
