Description
After bringing the cows back from the mountainside where they have been grazing all summer, at the end of the season it is a Swiss farmer's custom to take them on a parade (Almabtrieb) trough the village with their wonderful ornate cow bells and beautiful headdresses made of live flowers and pine branches.
It is great fun to see in person and one can see the pride of the farmers as they accompany these bovine beauties.

Wow, not that is something isn't it? Great shot Julie
Julie Weber replied:
It's great to see. And those bells are going the entire time, too. The farmers take great pride in their dressed up cows.
