Description
Comfrey plants are magnificent. The leaves are very large with interesting deep veining that creates a kind of pillowing effect. It interacts with direct light and back lighting beautifully. The leaves also have fine hairs, giving the leaves a fuzzy texture which can feel a bit scratchy. The overall size of the plant can easily grow 3 feet in all directions.
In the center image, comfrey leaves are graced by yellow maple florets fallen from the tree above.
