Goldenrod, Solidago is often blamed for allergic reactions. It blooms alongside ragweed, which is actually the true culprit. It's a shame so many people are allergic to this beautiful golden delight to the eyes, Goldenrod.

Time to release poor Goldenrod from this reputation. Ragweed is the culprit. Ragweed is wind pollinated thus putting out what people are allergic to. Goldenrod is insect pollinated. They bloom at the same time thus also for the confusion. Sooo....celebrate Goldenrod :)
